Geithner gets approval from Senate Finance Committee even though Geithner has failed to pay federal taxes for FOUR CONSECUTIVE YEARS and says that it is just a “carless mistake.” The American people are NOT that stupid! If it had been a Republican appointed to the treasury secretary position with the same crimes, not only would they NOT receive Senate approval, but they would be arrested and put in jail! This is a federal crime that Geithner committed.
Simply put, the Senate Democrats are sending a loud and clear message to the American people: “it’s just fine if you do not pay your federal income tax.” This will lead to a massive revolt by the American people; perhaps a civil war. If you think the economy is bad now, just wait until the federal government fails to receive taxes from the people.
You lead by example. Is this the kind of “CHANGE” that we need in the Obama administration? If Obama is appointing criminals to cabinet level positions, what does that tell you about the character of Obama? I’m certainly glad that I did not vote for the “change” man. (By the way, Hitler was elected for his message of “change”).

Geithner should be tried for tax evasion if at all possible. His only defense might be the statute of limitations that goes possibly goes back 7 years years maybe….so that technically, but not morally or ethically, he has escaped the jaws of the law. He should still be thrown out of office in a manner similar to Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois on ethics alone. He makes my stomach turn whenever I see him on TV. He has no credibility whatsoever….and is a obvious example of the joke that the U.S. Government has become.
